Identify potential benefits of proposed RFC with respect to any of the following:

  • Reducing the cost of developing or maintaining a system
  • Ease of sharing or exchanging of data among distributed partners and users
  • Distributed systems development and sharing of software and technical expertise
  • Interoperability and enhancing innovation, collaboration, and computing performance
  • Increasing the use of scientific data products and bringing more funding

Identify existing communities using the proposed RFC or potential communities that may benefit from its adoption.

  • Is there an existing structure for decision making in order to manage changes to the RFC?

Please consider addressing these additional elements, if any are relevant:

  • Identify existing implementation and operational experience of the potential standard, if any.
  • Comment on the current stability of the potential standard, with respect to the frequency and need for revision.
