How Do I Submit a Keyword Request?
To submit a keyword, the submitter should:
Review the controlled keyword requirements/guidelines
Verify that the keyword does NOT already exist
Include a definition of the proposed keyword
Once the above is complete, the submitter should send the request to support@earthdata.nasa.gov
How Do I Access the Keywords?
The keywords can be accessed via:
GCMD Keyword Directory: http://gcmdservices.gsfc.nasa.gov/static/kms/
Dynamic RESTful Service http://gcmdservices.gsfc.nasa.gov/kms/capabilities
How Do I Apply Keyword Changes to Records??
Once a keyword version is released, uses can access the KMS API (http://gcmdservices.gsfc.nasa.gov/kms/capabilities?format=html) to access the most recent version of the keywords.
How Do I Cite the Keywords?
The keywords should be cited as:
