ISO XML Schemas
As NASA works toward ISO conformance and the evolution of geospatial standards, it will be necessary to reference ISO XML schemas. The local instance of the most relevant ISO XSDs - 19115/19139 (basic), 19115-2 (extensions) and 19119(service) - are available at: http://ngdc.noaa.gov/metadata/published/xsd/schema.xsd (the Eden group).
Additional resources for ISO conformance are included in the below pages. Note the Sample XML Schema Association page for an example of calling the NOAA repository.
