Introduction
  • The ESDIS project is in the process of gathering and registering Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for products supported by EOSDIS.  Currently only data products supported by NASA are being registered.
  • The ESDIS project uses EZID (http://ezid.cdlib.org) to register DOIs for EOSDIS earth data products.  The DOIs assigned are listed by Data Provider here on the Earthdata Collaboration Environment
  • This space on the Earthdata Wiki is meant to describe the ESDIS DOI process and provide guidance for registering and reserving DOIs.
