100+ full resolution, global imagery products from NASA Earth Observing System satellites are continuously ingested from LANCE data providers and other sources, then mosaicked, and finally served in near-real time (<3.5 hours latency) by the Global Imagery Browse Services. This includes products from the MODIS instruments aboard Terra and Aqua, the AIRS instrument aboard Aqua, and the OMI and MLS instruments aboard Aura.
MODIS, AIRS, and OMI holdings begin at 2012/05/08 and run through the present. MLS holdings begin 2013/05/09 and run through the present. We are actively working to build our archive to include earlier dates
Access to this imagery is provided via Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Web Map Tile Service (WMTS), Tiled WMS (TWMS), and Google Earth KML generation as described in the Access Methods section.
