Q:  Which platforms does HEG support?
A: HEG currently runs on LINUX, WINDOWS 32 & 64, SUN, and MAC Intel.

Q:  Are there any hardware requirements?
A: The main one is to be conscious of how much memory you need. If you are working with large data sets which produce large GeoTIFF images, then you should probably have 250-500Mbytes of memory. If you are Stitching several of these images, you may need more.
