In order to evaluate the completeness and consistency of metadata in the Common Metadata Repository (CMR) we created a sample of collection and granule metadata by identifying collections with one or more granules and selecting the collection records in four dialects (DIF9, DIF10, ECHO10, and ISO19115-2). We also selected the most recent granule from these collections in ECHO10 and ISO19115-2. These records were downloaded during the first half of March, 2016.
