Earthdata Search's text search field attempts to understand complex queries like "land surface temperature over Uganda for the last 10 years."

Sometimes a text only search does not return useful results.  This happens most often when the search includes an unrecognized, misspelled or ambiguous location name. The names of rivers or bodies of water also appear to be a challenge.
