The new version of conversion tool for converting HDF4 based HDF-EOS files to HDF5 based HDF-EOS files was released to HDF-EOS user community on March 24, 2014.
The release (version 4.0) contains source code (the tar file) for creating executable binaries in supported platforms. Please refer to heconvert.doc in the source tarfile or heconvert.txt on how to use this tool.
